Content and editing

Visual editor

Build page layouts with existing modules, rows and columns, then review the result before saving.

Everyday editing

Use the visual canvas to select text, images and layout elements. Add supported content blocks from the editor panel, arrange rows and columns and edit their properties. Fullscreen editing retains Save and page-view controls. The HTML view is available for technical changes, but stored content is still sanitised. Pasting scripts, event-handler attributes or arbitrary executable markup is not a supported way to extend the CMS.

Layout building

  • Start from an existing section or one of the provided starter pages.
  • Use columns to structure related text, images and links.
  • Keep heading order meaningful and supply descriptive link text and image alternatives.
  • Check desktop and small-screen layouts after changing spacing or image proportions.
  • Manage shared headers and footers in their dedicated area, rather than copying them into every page.

Save and frontend checks

Save persists the current page and records a revision. View page opens the saved frontend in another tab. When editing a draft, the authenticated preview remains private and is not a public sharing link. Browser recovery and private server drafts help recover work, but are not replacements for deliberate saves or deployment backups. An unsaved new page has browser recovery; server drafts start after its first save.

The current document model

The editor works with HTML. Registered module identifiers in markup assist editing but are not a trusted, canonical block database. A JSON module draft can be validated and rendered into the editor, but existing HTML cannot be round-tripped automatically into an equivalent React component tree.
