Desktop and mobile presentation
The Practice theme can use visible desktop navigation or a menu button. Mobile uses the responsive menu. Shared headers can include [care:navigation] to retain live menu output instead of maintaining duplicate hard-coded links. Check long menu labels, keyboard focus and small-screen wrapping after changing navigation. A custom header still needs an accessible design; the token is not a substitute for reviewing the surrounding layout.
Announcements
Use the announcement settings for a notice such as changed opening hours. Its action can point to a page section or open the configured notification as a pop-up. Disable the announcement when there is nothing to show. For a section link, make sure the target section has the expected ID. A notice is website content, not a secure channel for patient messages or a prescription-processing workflow.
