Care CMS documentation

A practical reference for the current Symfony CMS: what it does, how to use it and where its boundaries are.

What Care CMS is

Care CMS is a Symfony 7.4 application for bilingual practice websites. It combines Twig-rendered pages, EasyAdmin administration, a self-hosted GrapesJS visual editor and a public read-only content API. It is one application per practice, rather than a multi-tenant hosting platform. The current source is privately maintained. Access and onboarding are agreed personally through ZoraWebDesign. These public guides explain the software; they do not grant repository access or create a paid subscription.

Find your starting point

  • New installation: read Installation, then First login and email.
  • Practice editor: start with Pages and articles, Visual editor and Media and image assets.
  • Site designer: use Shared headers and footers, Starter designs and fonts, and Navigation and announcements.
  • Frontend developer: read Content API, Module catalogue and AI-assisted drafts.
  • Maintainer: review Deployment, Security and roles, and Backups and updates before changing a running site.

How to read these guides

Commands run from the CMS project directory unless stated otherwise. Example domains and addresses are fictional. Dashboard labels use the English interface; the CMS itself also supports German. These documentation pages are English only. Do not paste passwords, provider tokens, patient information or private database contents into public forms, AI prompts or source control. All code samples are developer examples, not commands to run against a live client site without a backup.
